Stillwater Junior High students Dalton Samuel and Caleb Oliver bike toward a skate park on Thursday afternoon.
After filming another episode of On., I noticed all of the giant puddles around the park next to where we filmed. I love reflections and was kicking myself for not bringing a longer lens to catch a reflection of the playground nearby.
There were two kids on bikes who couldn’t help but talk at obnoxiously high volumes as we filmed. After we finished filming, I saw my chance. A large puddle laid between the kids and the skate park. Oh, joy.
On problem: I didn’t know the angle I needed to get the reflection right. Without someone in the frame, all I had was a reflection of clouds. I had to guesstimate.
Close, but no cigar. That’s fine. I hate smoking.
In hindsight, I should have gotten lower and a little closer to get their bikes in the reflection. The good news is that this was just for fun and not for a deadline.

you know this was just a cheap way for you to put another pic of your car on here! lol!
