This is my sister-in-law, Danette Gray, tugging along my nephew, Brysin, inside Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.
The family had a new member arrive on August 11. Piper Gray came weighing in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces and standing at a height laying at a length of 19 inches.
Piper came with a few complications, including bladder exstrophy and an unattached pelvic bone. The next day she underwent a 6-hour-long surgery. Not exactly what you want for your newborn.
The people at Children’s are incredible and she is doing wonderfully. She was supposed to be in traction for two weeks, but thanks to a quick recovery, she now only has little casts on her little legs.
Best of all, today was the first day that her mom and dad could hold her. How awesome! God is great!
I know that there were countless caring people who had Piper in their thoughts and prayers. I have no doubt that God used those thoughts and prayers for His glory.
Thanks be to God!

I LOVE this! Great shot brother!
Thanks, Kerb!
I’m with Kerby – love this!
