Producer, Brad Schlei, is working on a new movie, “The Killer Inside Me,” which is being filmed throughout Oklahoma. The movie will star Kate Hudson, Jessica Alba, and Casey Affleck.
After uploading video and pictures from the weekends fishing shoot, I was asked to go take a picture of a movie producer. Well, yeah I wanted to. Mr. Schlei was really cool and surprisingly nice. He talked with us for close to an hour. I learned all the inside information about the movie, including how it ends. Which probably isn’t a big deal because the movie is from a 1952 novel by American writer Jim Thompson. So, it wouldn’t be that hard to find out the ending.
After finishing the interview, we headed back to the newsroom, where I did some more post-production.
I then got to do my first grunt work as an intern. Woo hoo! I was allowed to go through every single page of every single paper from the month of May and make a tally of every byline for every writer and photographer. Needless to say it was my favorite thing I have done so far at the Sun. Ha!
In the afternoon I met with two tennis standouts from Edmond. I took portraits of the male and female All-Edmond tennis players. Rachel Mitcham from Edmond North and Gavin Dubberstein from Edmond Memorial. They were both very nice and a lot of fun to shoot.
Tonight, I am trying to finish up my DIY project, but waiting on paint to dry is a real pain. Should be completely finished and tested tomorrow.

Great lighting.
Thanks, Tony.
Not much to it at all. Backlight with a single strobe. Ambient fill. I’m no strobist. Luckily bumping the levels up let me save his face.
Dubberstein! His dad was my dentist!
! His brother was in my fraternity.
